Provincial Liberals Take Majority
It’s about time! Quebec elected the Liberals as their majority government today. So tired of these minority governments all the time. It only shows that the masses are fed up of the same old, same old. So we tried the minority thing. In times like these where the economy is a major concern a majority government is imperative. I’m not for one party more than the other but I feel that Mr. Charest is the best choice for leader right now. I pray that nothing comes up where we will have to go to the polls again before his term is up. We are sick of elections! The thing is, Canadians across the country will probably have to vote again next year. Since it seems this coalition government wants to bring down Harper and the conservatives.
The recent election campaign here in Quebec wasn’t even that interesting. No one really cared. I haven’t heard the voter turn out yet but I’d be interested to know what the percentage was. Stability is needed everywhere now. Here’s to hoping we can get back on track sooner than later.
